I am happy to formally announce that my friend Brad and I have been appointed the new coordinators of the Walmer Centre Theatre. More than just coordinators, Brad and I will be joining forces to create something of an artistic vision for this humble little theatre space. And, if everything goes according to plan, we'll be making beautiful art for the glory of God in no time!
Walmer describes their theatre as "an intimate performing arts space set aside for the intersection of faith, imagination, and culture."
Exciting stuff, eh? I must say, it's awfully nice to have a light at the end of the tunnel these days.

Hey Kate, That sounds really cool about the theatre... I love saying Theatre...

Very cool, Kate. I also love your costume in your title role.

Hey Kate, congratulations!
And what are you doing with that blue ball in your hand?

...
congrats on the walmer gig!!
Did anyone notice how INTENSELY I'm looking at that blue ball? Appears I've got some fire in me eyes!! They wanted me to hold two but I argued that two was just too obvious ...
Is the Walmer gig paying?

Hi Kate...I just found your blog and it's so nice to hear your voice again, even if it's not REALLY your voice...congrats on a) the acting (despite your reservations) and b) steering the vision of that lovely theatre space. I"m sure lovely and beautiful things will come of your work.
After reviewing your "'Lysistrata' or 'The Great Disappointment'" post and looking at your photo in the varsity article, I must say that your lysistrata production has the hottest lysistrata, and that's just a fact, or perhaps an unbiased opinion. I would venture to assume that the majority of your fellow bloggers would strongly agree with my position on this matter.
I'm still however at a loss for the purpose behind all these blue balls. Perhaps this is some kind of innuendo I'm missing, I guess seeing the play will clarify things. Perhaps I should look up "blue balls" on Wikipedia or something.
Way to go with the Job!!!
Tim
I must say, you look smokin' in the get up, even with the blue ball.
And um ... Tim, do you seriously not know what blue balls is?
I agree - yours definitely has the hottest Lysistrata!
Congrats again on the Walmer job.
